Island Yoga Vista is in a great location!   We are located on Discovery Avenue in a friendly, urban, seaside neighbourhood across from  the beautiful waters of Newcastle Channel and the Harbourside Walkway in Nanaimo, BC on Vancouver Island!

A 10 minute walk from the Departure Bay Ferry Terminal and 30 minute walk along the waterfront to the downtown area.

Nanaimo, Vancouver Island’s most central destination,  is a town with a population of approximately 80,000.

SeaAir Seaplanes offers convenient service between Vancouver International Airport and Nanaimo and lands on Newcastle Channel, just minutes from the studio.

We’re also very close (about a 7 minute drive) to the educational and recreational heart of the community. Vancouver Island University, Nanaimo Aquatic Centre (swimming, wave pool, water slides) and the downtown and Arts District of the city.

From Vancouver you can walk aboard a ferry in Horseshoe Bay and walk off in Departure Bay just a few short blocks from the studio with a clean and comfortable Motel in between, if staying for the weekend, in the summer we even have some accommodation available here at the studio
