Weekly classes at Island Yoga Vista attract people of all ages who are looking for peace and knowledge as well as health. They appreciate a seasoned teacher and a program that offers them a balanced approach to Yoga. Each class includes breath work, guided imagery, relaxation techniques, Yoga Nidra and meditation. There is a strong and gentle component of yoga postures with a foundation in yoga philosophy. This gentle program is suitable for most people, if you have serious limitations it may be better to start with private sessions with Sandra and work towards joining a class in time.
Cost for Regular Weekly Classes:
$15.00 per class for a pre-registered session (or $20 drop-in for one time) $150 plus 5%GST for 10 weeks
This process requires a commitment to the entire session.
Missed classes can be made up anytime in the session.
Students who wish to attend two or more classes a week pay half price for the 2nd and 3rd class, with the same teacher. (Class size is limited to 8)

One-on-one yoga sessions with Sandra are a valuable and popular choice for individuals for many reasons. Some have time concerns and others simply want private attention to help quicken their practice. Individual, one on one sessions can help to establish a home practice and allow time for specific health issues. With individual attention we can focus on your unique goals to design a program that fits your constitution, health and fitness level. You will discover what Yoga and Ayurveda can do for you.
Integrative Yoga Therapy is a holistic health system that blends the ancient teachings of yoga with the latest advances in mind-body medicine. This synthesis of yoga postures, deep breathing, relaxation, meditation, guided imagery and releasing techniques and Yoga Nidra provides a natural antidote to the stress of contemporary living and promotes overall health. Over a thousand well-designed studies of yoga and meditation have documented a wide range of health benefits including decreases in cholesterol, blood pressure, heart rate, arthritis, insulin requirement, asthma, anxiety, and depression.
Sandra’s training in Integrative Yoga Therapy includes Ayurveda, Yoga’s sister science. She offers constitutional analysis, pulse diagnosis, lifestyle management and diet recommendations. You will successfully change your lifestyle patterns and improve your health. Everyone registered in a series of individual sessions is welcome to attend as many of her weekly classes as they would like to at no additional cost.
COST: $120 per hour or $250 for 3 one-hour sessions (if prepaid)
