Vastu means “building” and Shastra refers to “the science.” This science of building originated 7000 to 10,000 years ago, and was recorded in ancient yogic texts called the Vedas. In recent times it is again becoming popular as more people endeavour to live in harmony with their environment. There is no need to rediscover the wheel anymore, than to reinvent this ‘science of building’ information, as it stands as true today as it did all those years ago. Like nature, it has laws that are consistent through all times and places.
